Supporting community programs and providing Kansas City cat resources is a core passion of the Just Fur-Babies team. Organizations like Meowy Matchmakers and Fix’em KC align perfectly with our company values, and we are proud to partner with them. Both groups have teams passionate about reducing the number of unwanted cats in our city. Because the Just Fur-Babies employees and clients are a small village, we want to help that village grow by supporting these two amazing groups and their mission for local fur-babies.
Meowy Matchmakers
Meowy Matchmakers is a 501 3c is a foster only cat rescue for Johnson and Wyandotte counties. They work closely with applicants to match each cat with the right family to make the best match possible. Ongoing support and resources are available to adopters to ensure a lifelong bond between the cat and the human.
How can you help? Meowy Matchmakers welcomes donations to their website or purchases from their wish lists on Amazon or Chewy. Are you a sports fan? 100% of profits from our partner shirts go directly to the rescue too!
Fix’em KC
Fix’em KC is a spay/neuter solution to reduce the number of unwanted pets in the Greater Kansas City area. Their mission is to provide spay/neuter surgery for pet owners who cannot afford the cost of surgery, financially assisting community cat caretakers and trappers with the cost of spay/neuter for trap, neuter-spay and return (TNR), and creating more accessibility to area veterinarians for low-income pet owners through the establishment of a vet network.
Fix’em KC serves the Kansas City area including the counties of Jackson, Clay, Platte, and Cass in Missouri, and Johnson, Wyandotte, Leavenworth, and Miami in Kansas.
