Coach Tim

I have been working professionally with animals for more than 12 years. With degrees in both Master of Photography and Photographic Craftsman from the professional Photographers of America, I made the decision to focus on pet portraits. With a huge passion for pets and a strong desire to give back, I began volunteering at an animal shelter and discovered that by utilizing my photographic skills to highlight homeless pets, we could help them gain more exposure and find forever homes. Based on the success and increased adoptions rate, I was offered a marketing position with Great Plains SPCA. Always a pet advocate, I found out about a shelter that was on the verge of closing its doors and knew that I had to help, so I joined the team at Prairie Paws Animal Shelter as their Director of Operations. My accomplishments include: Fear Free Elite certification, Fear Free Trainer certification, and I’ve completed the Jackson Galaxy Cat Pawsitive Shelter Training Program, learning among other things the value of clicker training in cats. I have also completed the Mentorship programs from Dogs Playing for Life in both Texas and Florida, learning how to conduct playgroup sessions, and the Mentorship Level 2 program, learning how to rehabilitate aggressive and reactive dogs. I used this training and these certifications to help develop the training program for Prairie Paws Animal Shelter. Finally, I have extensive medical knowledge, and consider myself an expert in herd management and disease control and prevention.

Aunt Jahan

My name is Jahan and my love for all animals has been life long. I have always been around pets and value each and every creature! Volunteering at shelters and rescue groups is fun and fulfilling, something I am very passionate about … if it’s an animal, I’ve rescued it, fostered it or sponsored it! I’ve volunteered for KCPRN (pig rescue network), Great Plains SPCA, KC Pet Project and Olathe Animal Shelter. Whether gathering donations or rescuing critters abandoned in the road, animals are my passion.

I am an experienced pet sitter and LOVE interacting and learning each and every pet’s personality. I want to make each one feel like they’re the most important and happy pet in the room 🙂 From cats to dogs to amphibians to reptiles to opossums and mice, I’ve either fostered it, rescued it or done pet sitting for it! I have so much love to give and am currently parent to my 4-legged kids, June, my 3 year old bloodhound and Kevin, my 2 year chill chihuahua. Living in Olathe, I’m a married mom with two terrific human teenagers! When I’m not caring for animals, I love to cook, garden and watch movies.

Jahan will be taking her Pet First Aid & Fear Free Certification in June 2021

Aunt Alex

I was very excited to start working for Just-Fur-Babies in June 2019, and now have one full year under my belt! I had wanted to do something with animals for as long as I can remember and was happy to find a company in my area that looked promising. Animals have always had a place in my heart and my life for as long as I can remember and the fact that I get to make sure pets get the attention they deserve and care that they need is honestly a wonderful feeling! I’m very excited to further my knowledge of being able to understand and take care of all the fur babies with the best knowledge and care we can provide. I received my Pet First Aid Certification in August 2019 and furthered my education in becoming a Fear Free Professional in July 2020.

Aunt Teresa

As a wife and mother of 4, there is always more love to go around and animals have always held a special place in my heart.  After graduating from KU with a Master’s in Business and a long career in the corporate world, I decided to stay at home with our children and “fur kids.”  Following the birth of our youngest child, I started my own photography business in 2015. Now that all of the children are in school full-time, I’m excited to be spending my days as the newest member of Just Fur Babies, taking care of your “fur kids.”  Our animal loving family consists of two senior large breed dogs, Weston and Archie, as well as three Dutch rabbits, Bob, Peter and Clara. I am Pet First Aid certified and in the process of receiving my Fear Free certification.

Aunt Tracy

As a client who has personally benefited from the amazing services provided by Just Fur-Babies, I could not be more excited to become a part of the team and to provide love and care for your furry best friends. When the opportunity presented itself to join Just Fur-Babies and take care of not just my own fur baby but others, I was elated!

Animals have always been part of my life. Growing up in a home where we always had at least 1 cat, we also had chickens, turkeys, parakeets, gerbils, and bunnies as well and I can’t imagine life without an animal by my side. I currently have one feisty cat named Wasabi who brings me joy daily. I am looking forward to meeting your furry family members and giving them heaps of love and attention. In addition to my love of animals, I am an avid reader, a huge Chief’s fan and I like to be outside as much as possible.

Tracy’s Fear Free certification was completed in June 2021 and her First Aid certification will be completed in July 2021

Aunt Candace

Being a Just Fur-Babies client who has personally benefited from the amazing care shown to my own pets, I’m very excited to become a part of the team and provide love and care for your furry family as well. I’ve always been an animal advocate and know first-hand how important quality care is for both the pet parents and the pets and everyone’s peace of mind.

Candace’s Fear Free certification will be completed in July 2021 and her First Aid certification will be completed in August 2021.
